About Julie-Anne

Julie-Anne is a compassionate psychologist supporting clients face-to-face from her office in Eastwood (just South-East of Adelaide city). She also offers online or telephone therapy for clients from all over, including regional areas outside of Adelaide in South Australia and Australia.

Julie-Anne demonstrates warmth, empathy, and acceptance when supporting her clients and their families to navigate life’s challenges. In a safe and trusted environment, clients can deal with difficult transitions and psychological distress, enabling the empowerment of understanding values, reconnection, and the discovery of life’s possibilities.

Julie-Anne is passionate about building a strong therapeutic rapport with clients, whilst tailoring her personal style to suit her clients’ individual personalities, diversity, and needs. She seeks to offer a comfortable and non-judgemental environment, respecting that every client comes with unique experiences and strengths that are important and recognised in therapy.

Julie-Anne draws on a range of evidence based therapeutic approaches so that her clients feel heard, and to flourish in today’s contemporary world. Including:

Experience

Julie-Anne’s experience includes working as a Regional Manager for a health care provider where she led a team of allied health professionals, including Psychologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and Occupational Therapists, to assist clients to improve and maintain positive mental health outcomes.

Julie-Anne has experience providing tailored psychological interventions and positive behaviour management, having assisted clients with emotional, behavioural, and mental health difficulties; in the private sector, disability sector (registered under the NDIS), employment services, public and community health settings and school-based environments.

  • Bachelor of Psychological Science, Majoring in Gender Studies, University of Adelaide
  • Honours in Psychology (Bachelor of Science), University of Southern Queensland
